I'm Richard from www.HikingEquipmentSite.com

I've been a social walker for more than thirty five years since joining the Boys’ Brigade (BB) at the age of twelve. I have been a member of the national Youth Hostel Association (YHA) walking group and more recently I became a member of SPICE UK through the local branch in Birmingham. SPICE stands for Special Programme of Initiative, Challenge and Excitement. I enjoy various activities within this group including: parties and balls; cinema nights and meals out; and of course, the countryside and company of fellow walkers.

My other current passions outside of SPICE include Ceroc Dancing and Internet Marketing. I do Ceroc for fun and exercise with my partner. Internet marketing is the method I have chosen to earn an income.

Is There A Difference Between Hiking, Walking And Backpacking?

This short article aims to clarify the terms, hiking, walking, backpacking and other related terms. First we briefly outline hiking as a tourism activity and describe the need for hiking equipment whilst in the great outdoors. We then ask if hiking and walking are the same type of activity before outlining other general and specific terminology that is used around the globe.

UK Cottage Holiday Cornwall, Padstow Walking Trevone, On South West Coastal Path was an interesting 7.5 miles circular walk which started from Padstow Harbour. It was undertaken on day 6 of a Cornwall cottage holiday near the South West Coastal Path during May 2011.

Video - Cornwall Cottages Holiday UK, Tintagel Walks, Boscastle Walking On Southwest Coast Path

Cornwall Cottages Holiday UK, Tintagel Walks, Boscastle Walking On Southwest Coast Path was a demanding 9 miles circular day hiking route in a clockwise direction. The first leg was an especially stunning section of the South West Coast Path. The return legs were through fields and meadows and the attractive wooded St Nectan 's Glen. You can visit the Hermitage Tea Gardens to view its waterfall as well as explore the ruins of Tintagel Castle and the very attractive fishing village of Boscastle.
